Tactical Urbanism NOW! 2025 – Architecture Competition

The annual Tactical Urbanism NOW! competition challenges participants to design short-term, cost-effective interventions that act as catalysts for larger transformations. For this 5th edition, participants are invited to adopt a “hyperlocal yet scalable” mindset.

Prizes of up to 10,000 Euros will be awarded to winners selected by an international jury panel.

Global Scope with Local Focus

Participants are free to choose any location worldwide for their interventions. The goal is to showcase how overlooked spaces can become transformative opportunities. Simple, tactical changes can breathe new life into these areas, acting as catalysts for widespread improvements.

Vision Behind the Projects

Contestants must explain the reasoning behind their concepts. These small-scale interventions, like acupuncture points, channel energy into the urban fabric, sparking systemic changes that resonate beyond their immediate surroundings.

• Standard registration (until 19th September 2025): 99 Euros + VAT (22%)

• Late registration (until 12th April 2026): 129 Euros + VAT (22%)
