Pictoplasma Berlin 2025 – Characters In Motion

Call for Submissions

We are looking for high-quality characters in animation, narration, music visuals, experimental works, or motion graphics from around the globe. All animated short films—whether experimental, narrative, non-narrative, commissioned, or student films—will be considered for the 21st Pictoplasma festival selection, taking place in May 2025.

Festival Highlights

The Pictoplasma Festival showcases the latest trends in character design and art. Cutting-edge screenings present the newest animation delights on the big screen, while numerous exhibitions throughout the city invite attendees to experience original works and exceptional character craftsmanship. The Characters in Motion screenings provide an overview of international animations, short films, motion graphics, and experimental works, with a focus on stylish and fresh character-driven visuals and narratives.

Pictoplasma Berlin 2025 is scheduled for 7th-11th May 2025.
