The 2025 Rattle Chapbook Prize, organized by Rattle, an American poetry magazine, is now open for entries. Writers worldwide are invited to submit their best poems for consideration.
About the Competition
Rattle believes that poetry should be a powerful, accessible experience for all, and chapbooks—concise collections of poems—embody that ideal. Chapbooks offer an intimate reading experience, perfectly suited to the 21st century.
The prize honors the value of poetry, aiming to remind readers of the unique power of language and its ability to convey deeply moving emotions. Through this competition, Rattle seeks to promote poetry as a medium that can reach everyone, not just scholars.
The winners will be announced on April 15th.
