Model Young Package 2024 – Design Competition

The Model Young Package competition seeks creative packaging designs for the "Sweets in a Box" theme. This year's focus is on developing packaging that both protects and enhances the unboxing experience for sweets.

The Open Contest is open to all professional designers and young talents aged 15 and older. Win a share of the 16,000 Euros prize pool as an individual or as a team and be part of the prestigious award ceremony.

You can choose between two briefs to submit your digital prototype:

Brief 1: Develop a refined omnichannel packaging for sweets

Brief 2: Design packaging for any sweets of your choice

The competition features two submission categories:

• High School Students: For emerging talents still in secondary education.

• University Students and Designers: Open to university students and professional designers.

  
  

A panel of design and packaging experts will evaluate submissions based on innovation, functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics. Finalists will be invited to an awards ceremony, where winners will be announced, and winning designs will be showcased, offering participants recognition and exposure.

Prizes

• 1st Prize: €8,000

• 2nd Prize: €6,000

• 3rd Prize: €4,000

• Additional special awards and recognition include eco-friendly design and audience choice awards, contributing to a total prize pool of €28,000
