La Guarimba International Film Festival 2025

La Guarimba International Film Festival is calling for short film entries for 2025 on any theme by filmmakers from all parts of the world.

La Guarimba International Film Festival is seeking Fiction, Animation, Documentary, Music Videos, Experimental, Dance Films, and Children’s Animation of any nationality and language.

The selection for 2025 will include around 170 films that will be screened at the festival and will be part of the competition. The best Fiction, Documentary, and Animation films will each be awarded 800 Euro and a trophy. The best Music Video and Children’s Animation will each be awarded 300 Euro and a trophy. Trophies will also be awarded in all other competition categories.

La Guarimba only accepts films produced after 1st January 2023. Film format is not limited, and any filmmaker may submit more than one entry.

Short films of any nationality and language are welcome, and all themes are allowed.

The maximum film length is 30 minutes (including credits).

The 13th edition of La Guarimba International Film Festival will be held from 7th to 12th August 2025 in Amantea, Calabria, Italy’s wildest region.

The submission fee starts at 10€ and varies depending on the submission category and the submission deadline.
