What to Build

Use MLB™ datasets, public datasets, and Google Cloud AI tools to develop a project in one of these challenges:

1. Wild Card Challenge:
   Dream up your own MLB™ fan engagement project! Use the provided tools and data to take fan experiences to the next level.

2. Personalized Fan Highlights:
   Build a system that lets fans follow their favorite teams, players, or specific plays and generates custom audio, video, or text digests. Ensure multilingual support for English, Spanish, and Japanese fans.

3. Real-Time “Tool Tips”:
   Create an interactive application offering real-time insights into baseball strategy, explaining the tactics behind each play for casual viewers as the game unfolds.

4. Generate Statcast Data from Old Videos:
   Develop a tool to extract Statcast metrics (like pitch speed and exit velocity) from archival game footage using computer vision.

5. Prospect Prediction:
