The 5th European Robotics Hackathon, “EnRicH 2025,” aims to unite roboticists and radiological and nuclear (RN) professionals and specialists in one place. This unique event offers valuable insights into possible robotic applications for radiological and nuclear tasks, combining hackathon contests with an R&D workshop.

Although it includes a contest element, EnRicH 2025 is a non-profit, R&D-focused initiative. It provides a collaborative, non-competitive setting for companies to showcase their equipment and allows participants to witness these systems in action in real-world scenarios.

New in 2025

1. Mandatory Radiation Measurements: Participants must carry out real radiation measurements.

2. Combined UAV & UGV Scenarios: Collaboration between unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and ground vehicles (UGVs) is strongly encouraged.

3. Alternatives for UGVs: Trained dogs may replace UGVs, with adapted scenarios.

4. New Scenario: Intelligent assistance functions for the "E" (Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Improvised Explosive Device) job in CBRNE tasks.
