What is Codegeist?

Atlassian’s annual hackathon, Codegeist, is where developers showcase their creativity by building custom apps and integrations. This year’s focus is on apps that help teams collaborate, plan, and track work more effectively.

1. Teamwork Foundations - Empower teams to align goals and track work.

2. World-Class Software Development - Enhance product and development team workflows.

3. High-Velocity Service Management - Enable quick and efficient IT service support.

4. Executive Strategy and Planning - Help leaders set strategies and optimize value.

   
   

Requirements

• Build an app using Atlassian’s Forge platform in one of the specified categories.

• Provide an installation link for judging.

• Include a demo video (max 5 minutes) showcasing your project.

  
  

Prizes

• First Place: $20,000, Team 2025 tickets, meeting with Atlassian developers, and a featured blog post.

• Second Place: $12,000 and a featured blog post.

• Third Place: $8,000 and a featured blog post.

• Bonus Prizes: $1,000 for Best Runs on Atlassian Apps, Connect to Forge Apps, and Rovo Apps.

Participation prizes also include Atlassian swag packs for eligible submissions.
